Asked by Craig Weiss. I have a POC doc I was given a while back that says Teams should be included in the Office layer, but that is the most I have been able to find. Did you include teams with office? I imagine teams needs to see outlook installed to install all the bits it needs for integration. Another option might be to include office as a prerequiste layer when creating a teams layer.
I did try all of those options. It appears the issue was that we had installed the bit version of Teams with one of the recent updates, but Office was still at bit. However, we do not see presence icons in Outlook. The option to create Teams meeting is there, just no status bubbles next to contacts in email. The option to "Display online status next to name" is checked but greyed out in Outlook.
What Rob said - you need to make sure that your O layer is a prerequisite when creating your Teams layer, otherwise that won't work.
